  1. Tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than from fear based on past experiences.
  2. An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
  3. Loss of interest in judging self.
  4. Loss of interest in judging other people.
  5. Loss of interest in conflict.
  6. Loss of interest in interpreting actions of others.
  7. Loss of ability to worry (this is a very serious symptom).
  8. Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
  9. Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
  10. Frequent attacks of smiling through the eyes of the heart.
  11. Increasing susceptibility to love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.
  12. Increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make things happen.

记得中学的时候在读者一类的杂志上看到“内心的宁静”的说法,当即觉得这才是人生最高境界。中学毕业时,把追求内心宁静作为人生目标写在毕业纪念册上。会有这样的目标,也许是因为这离我太遥远吧。现在看到这12条,觉得自己在8、9、10、11上还可以,2也比较接近,其他的就。。。也许要等七老八十了才会更靠近些,但是,失去这个那个的兴趣,是不是也就等于失去了活力,生活是不是也会变得很无趣呢?
